I love to spend time wandering around in Nature, whether it be the remote endless beaches around the #eyrepeninsula or following the kangaroo trails through the scrub. There is no end to the wonder and inspiration in Nature, no two experiences are ever the same, even in the same place. I’m always searching for different shapes, textures, colours, sounds, animals and the way the light hits everything. This is how my creative process begins. I take photos and samples and memories home to my workshop, and then I begin the process of turning those experiences into jewellery. Nothing is ever really planned, it just begins. I become immersed in the moment, it’s akin to meditation. There are many different techniques that I have learned over the years and I experiment with many ideas to capture the beauty that I find in nature.
